trying out the new platform

a few of you are over at dreamwidth, so I thought I'd check it out. I changed my user name, just because. not just because, really, but mostly just because I could. I don't play the game that bixie came from anymore, and I was never a big enough nerd to have the programming meaning of bixie be relevant. so birdie it is.

I have a lot to say, but mostly it's whinging so I may or may not say it. for now, the testing will suffice.
